ENVIRONMENT
There are a lot of movements to do something for the protection of the environment, which has become a global issue. Make a list of the ones you think are worthy of your support and discuss why you think so.
An organisation which is often in media in Germany is the WWF. The organisation tries to safe places and animals all over the world. There are sometimes shows on the TV-station RTL where the people can contribute money to safe the rainforest. The WWF is a serious and etablished organisation which I think you should support.
I think that FAIRTRADE (Transfair) is a good organization. A major goal of this company is to improve the living and working conditions for people in Asia, Afrika and Latin Amerika.
Although i haven't heard about these organizations but i know there are international organization is working on this problem. However, I think everybody have the responsibilities to protect our environment. we waste natural resources silently and we need to stop that. A lot trees being cut down to make paper, but we should plant more trees and grasses. co2 emissions is also a huge problem. Instead of driving somewhere real close, we should take a walk as exercise.
I agree with Winnie, she has a good point there. Wasting leads to pollution and that's a huge problem everywhere around the globe. There is an organization here in the US and is national that works on global warming, land, water, & wild life, oceans, and health. I support thin organization because they're trying to work on everything with pollution not just one. Pollution leads to a lot of things that happen in the world and put a lot of people and animals in danger because of it.
